RE: I think that margin calls result in little or no new money coming into the market. Most people don't have a line of instant credit to cover a margin calls. Those who have CDs don't buy on margin. So margin calls just result in position liquidations. Kap I am not trading on margin, but I think if I was and I faced a margin call I would take care of it with a advance from a credit card. Of course I'm a fairly small investor, it would be harder for someone who faces a large margin call to take care of it that way. Tim
