John,

The last time I spoke to I/R they were hoping to have a deal done by their year end (May 31). Like you, I want a reasonable deal; one both fare to us and them -- whomever "them" turns out to be. And I want it soon.

As far as the patent clock is concerned, I believe DMX can apply for extensions if the approval process is unduly long. That being said, as far as the UK is concerned, approval is pretty much here and has been for 6 months.

I do know that the labelling issue is not only being looked at by the UK people, but I am told that other European agencies are having input too, if I understood Rene Ho correctly in my recent conversation.

Other general comment -- I am a little surprised the sell off has been this deep, as far as DMX is concerned. With dollars likely starting to flow within 5-7 months, it seems a little excessive. My sense is a lot of people got caught on margin calls and they were forced to sell whether they wanted to or not. Lets hope the blood letting stops soon for everyone's sake. But as Jef said -- there is opportunity in chaos -- and that's the reason it's always wise to keep a little dry powder.

Best to all,

MB
