A writer can spin a story any way he/she feels is necessary. Same story could be written about people who lost it all this week and threw in the towel. Just depends on what the writer is looking to convey. I get involved with the media frequently and have some experience in this area (and, OT, was a buyer today)..... Best advice is to ask friends, family, coworkers, etc, as to what they think. However, very few like to admit they just lost their a.. and have no idea what to do.... Best of luck - glad this week is over. Agree that Monday is an up day, but we are far from out of the woods. A little golf and cocktails always makes things better - ALWAYS.

Depends on which market. There has pretty much been a crash in the tech sectors and the NASDAQ because of them. The DOW and other indexes containing a greater weighting of reasonably priced stocks is appropriately not down as much. The NASDAQ darling stock sectors had diverged to the highest extent seen by the market since '29 if ever. Discussions using a vague term such as "market" does injustice to your fine intellect. Please make clear just what "market" you are talking about.
