Well, first off, to make money on the licensing of 3rd party modules I suppose...

but also, the Handspring slot is larger than a CF slot, so Modules don't have to be designed and engineered as small as a CF card.

For now, the size of the Handspring Visor and its module slot is fine for me. But I would like to see a dedicated CF card adaptor. Besides, the Handspring Visor is priced so low, it can be considered as a throw-away item that is replaced every other year or so. Perhaps the next version will be smaller, with an SD slot!
