like to thank two seldom posters but constant lurkers...both of whom contributed to my past few days fun in san diego. ribman for a tour and lunch at the top gun bar. the bartender has a sign hidden behind the bar....when market conditions are appropriate, the house buys a round and he displays the sign which proclaims "this round is on qcom"... love to go drinking there on a friday night sometime. fish lips for a behind the scenes tour of the scripps aquarium and facilities. first time i was sorry i did not bring a fishing rod to an aquarium. presently camped beachfront on a small bay in newport beach. 2 blocks from balboa island...the newport beach boatshow is this weekend and the little bay is full of display boats. pretty site beginning 100 yards from our campsite. unclewest ps.threw my calculator away!
