Nice digging, Jorj. Looks like Alice has been exposed. Alice/lorrie, if you are doing academic work in the social sciences and using your posts here as experimentation, you're in violation of American Psychological Association ethical standards. And I'm sure the sociology and anthropology organizations have similar standards. If the Stanford.edu address is yours, it will be easy for someone to contact your department head and notify them of your behavior.

Why do Gurus Spontaneously Combust?

Because they like Clinton believe they are above the law and don't need a pardon!

It has been my experience that once a person (aka Guru, President, or Savior of SI) reaches a point that they think their sh*t don't stink, it is only a matter of time before they Spontaneously Combust! I have a theory it is related to the build up of Methane Gas.
