Stan, you are right about the support in the 2800 level from looking at that chart. Good work. I remember the funds were hit by redemptions in 1987 which further caused the selling. This hasn't happened yet. Maybe they are waiting for it to occur and holding off buying. Tough to time the bottom, but having some cash to pick off profitable companies that were leaders in their sector and were off 75%+ of their highs was a good 1987 strategy. Just didn't have the cash then.
