Nok, I will be interested to hear if any hard data comes in on the "disasters" which people are speaking about. I keep hearing anecdotes from traders and other friends of people who are on margin who imploded this week, and there are rumors of hedge fund problems, etc., but I think it will take a while for the real story to emerge.

Nokomis and Gemmers in General I just wanted to share this em I got last evening from a friend of mine I shall call Don "The God Father" Juan who is probably one of the smartest traders I have met....

"Wanted to share a couple thoughts with you guys in
regard to the market:

Over this weekend, be careful about listening to all
of the forecasters that will emerge with their
prognostications.

What you want to do is listen to the market itself --
and nothing else.

And no matter how distraught you might become,
remember this: Just when the equity landscape looks as
bleak as can be, a brand new bull market will begin,
chock-full of opportunities.

In the meantime, don't force things by trying to catch
the falling knife.

Let the market play its own hand out before you play
yours."

Best wishes to all,

Burj
