RE:"If the stories are true, AMD stock will go through the roof"

Could be the one time Intels woes didn't drag down AMD...
Unfortunately Wall Street isn't as smart as many here give it credit for...

Scumbria (and Elmer),

I just jumped in at post# 105884 and see this incredible dialoque going on (probably started before):

10.38 Elmer to Scumbria
10.40 Scumbria to Elmer
10.44 e to s
10.46 s to e
10.46 e to s (that was quick!)
10.49 s to e (Scumbria had a quick cup of coffee)
10.49 e to s (again first marks for speed to Elmer)
10.54 s to e (Scumbria actually wrote some posts directed at others in the meantime)

Why don't you guys take a direct line?

Elmer gave up then (probably lives in a different time zone), Scumbria still posting up to now.

Sorry guys <vbg> could not resist this.

Cor

Scumbria,

If the stories are true, AMD stock will go through the roof.

It seems that turning a market crash, sellers ae not very selective. AMD's percentage drop was lower than the rest of the market, but not by much.

But AMD may benefit by accelerating the penetration into the business market. That's worth more in the long term that a short term stock movement.

That said, I don't mean to say that I would not like to see some short term recovery. Some of the Apr 80 calls went from looking a little sad to outright unhappy.
