dr, if i had to bet, I would bet on a gap up, a selloff which goes to the lows of the day (to comse critical level?) and then a whoosh. up. After that-- volatility for everyone. I really think we need to look at previous bottoms for clues. That said, I always thought this one would be worse than the last because the moves up have bene so parabolic. I disagree with those who see this as an economics event (i.e., market signaling economic downturn). This is a pure market event-- speculators getting crushed.
