Sam, AG has been swearing up and down for a while that he has not been out to "get" the market. If he is sincere, and was not trying to slow down the market when it was highflying, then logic would suggest he is similarly indifferent to it now, and will not consider the nasdaq bear market as a factor in his decisions. And just a couple of days ago, well into this nosedive, one of the Fed governors was grousing about how too revved up the economy still is. I'm not sure the Fed cares all that much about the formerly exuberant investors. Victor
