I just poured over the carnage on the Nasdaq...if you exclude the SUNW,ORCL,and INTC's you have defoliation of all the rest of the stocks...I lived through the crash of '87 and the Crash this week plus the 3 weeks preceding it is the worst I've ever seen in my life.Companies like CTXS,SCMRwich are not "Net" stocks but the backbone of computing and optical telcom have been decimated.The little investor(as I saw a multitude of 100 share trades on the Datek this week)have cashed in their chips probably never to return.The Old-guard investors were jealous of the youngsters making a lot of money and went out of their way to create an atmosphere of fear and anxiety.
