"If I decide to sell..."
For what it is worth if I still held JDS I'd wait. My assumption is that this is a true bear market and the recent sharp downturn will be followed by a very powerful counter-trend rally. I, personally, would hold and sell into that strength. Only problem, though, is that I don't know how 'trade' JDS on the shorter term; others here have done a great job of it and perhaps they will be able to mark the areas close to the bottom and top.

(You may not have enough history in this thread so here is a disclaimer: I have been VERY cautious--some think overly cautious--through the JDS upside since the p/e went beyond 50. I didn't add on the way up and recommended against 'chasing the rising price.' I bought when the p/e was in the mid 20s, sold some to recoup (2x) my initial investment, but the bulk stayed long until late Jan, 2000.)

Ciao,
David Todtman

There are some calendar quirks to think over:

4/15 deadline for paying Uncle Sam for the breathtaking gains on the NASDAQ last year
4/17 deadline for IRA contribution

We might just be in store for the wackiest late spring rally yet.
