interest rate hikes are gone. you might see a surprise lowering like back in 97 or 98.

You make me laugh -- 2000 fair value -- given the prospects going forward? Greenspan can't lower -- he'd trash the dollar and only make things worse ... if they do it -- it will be from much, much lower levels. It really doesn't matter now. Completely irrelevant -- the market can't be rescued again ... no matter how much they lower. It's undone ...

I don't expect you to admit you were wrong, but you were awfully pesky when I said we were near the end. I was right when I said in the end of Dec "it's the beginning of the end." Vol premiums were way too low given the rise in stocks -- it took a month or two longer for the decline to get started in earnest (I said Feb or March at the latest), but it is here ...
