Good morning, Dealer. I hope the view from your porch is as beautiful as mine on this sunny Saturday. I was PMed by a reporter for the Wall Street Journal yesterday and agreed to a phone interview for an article he is writing. Now it turns out he wasn't calling about all those egghead analyses we've been making on G&K or about our ltb&h strategy. He's been lurking THE PORCH, and was amazed at how the folks around here have been so supportive and loving towards each other on a day when their investments crashed. He's trying to figure out why this should be happening on the Porch while folks on Yahoo and the Raging Bull and other SI threads are tearing each other to pieces in their panic. I wound up declining the interview once I learned I would have to reveal my real name and contact information for publication; I value my privacy more than a 2 minute lap dance with Lady Celebrity. But after thinking it over, I have concluded that the biggest single factor behind the loving atmosphere on the Porch is... YOU! I know it's a demanding, low paid job, but please keep up the good work, Sugar. uf
