As tempting as it is to comment over there, I don't want to get in trouble with more clowns or the SI admins again. <ng>

I was actually surprised to see all the coverage the TV news, and morning papers gave to the sell-off. Although I think we'll open with a real thud on Monday morning, I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of MAJOR share buyback programs announced (GE and/or IBM), or some other kind of stand taken place by the major institutions.

With it being expiration week, I bet quite a bit of people with a lot of $$$ and influence would want to delay anything potentially catastrophic until next week after expiration at a minimum.
