Ali,

No offense, but your post proves nothing. AMD certainly won't say anything about RDRAM until a chipset they might be working on is ready. The last thing they'd want to do right at this moment would be to legitimize RDRAM.

Put 2 and 2 together. AMD is hiring RDRAM engineers, and then a poster who is absolutely no fan of Rambus says they're building a chipset for RDRAM.

Hmmm...

About the time AMD comes out with this product and is able to produce it, it will be made obsolete by INTEL's Williamette.

I suspect that AMD is doing a fast redesign of their memory interface so they will be able to field a product able to compete with Williamette. Of course, this means that they will have to use RDRAM to mimimize latency and reduce the total system cost.
