Let's focus on what works(ed). OK. Let's see if we cannot get a discussion going about bottoms. What does it take to make a bottom? Even a ST bottom. What about down volume and TICK readings? I read somewhere today (I think Bobby B said this) that the down volume on the Naz on friday was 95 percent. Seems pretty awesome. What about 1987-- Black Monday. Can we extrapolate from there? I am not a technician. Theonyl thing I do well is read what smart people write. I plan to post some numbers here before Monday, but I wanted to ask the guys (e.g., Chris, Lee) who are better at this stuff to think about talking about what makes a bottom. PCall was .8 I think and VIX over 40 (remember VIX is an OEX measure-- No VIX for Naz)
