Greg, I guess I'm a little confused by what your trying to accomplish here....

Is your goal to expose Kim & her cronies as evil doers...???

Is your goal to protect the *rookie* traders???????

Your time line is very impressive, and the links seem to be timely, but what is the purpose....Greg, you do remember what it was like the last 4 months of '99 though don't you......this thread was on fire, we were just knocking them dead....

When a call was made, by the thread *elders*....everybody would chime in...."adding here", "buying 500 at $xx", "great call, adding"....etc, etc, etc.......and it certainly wasn't just mogul, kim, puff, west, KM, Mr. Big, who were making these statements....many, many lurkers would pop out, occasional posters, and *lesser knowns* (myself included), would post right along with the rest of them....you joined right in the excitement as well, posting, buying, selling, even a few calls as well......

Greg, if you were looking for an *out* call from anybody, I'm sorry, that is just your desicion.....personally, I always assume on the momo threads that *frontrunning* is a given...so when entering a trade I never, and I mean never, took the full ride....believe me, leaving thousands of dollars on the table is no fun, but better out and safe than caught in the downdraft of a selling spree.....

Kim, made me some serious cash, and for those last months of the year it was a blast, she never once promised to *lead* the flock, she made calls, some decent bullet point analysis (my DD at the time <g>, yes scary...), but you could take it or leave it.....

Was something here planned, and premeditated, in the beginning probably not, as the success of this thread grew, less, and less could be mentioned......we were targeted and you know that.....so if more and more calls were taken private, (disclaimer: not me....darn it!!!!), then so be it....I feel pretty fortunate that I was a part of it for as long as it flowed.....the traders your pointing fingers at helped to kick start my trading account, and made me a ton (by my standards) of $$,$$$, you just had to play it the right way...........

So again I ask, what is your goal here, I would love for Kim to come back.....but I fear the real reason she left, is because to many, and I do mean many, people were looking for all the answers, "when do I buy Kim"...."whats your target price Kim". "how many more shares are you buying Kim", "will you hold overnight Kim".....and on, and on, and on........

Not fair, IMHO...

---she rec'd a stock
---you buy or you don't

---if you buy, know your exit point.....
---if you don't, move on.....

It's as simple as that, asking, and receiving anymore than that is just pure gravy...

-Steven

Yikes, Greg. I like the fact you speak your mind, but I agree with jjetstream:

---if you buy, know your exit point.....
---if you don't, move on.....

It's as simple as that, asking, and receiving anymore than that is just pure gravy...

Kim made me (lots of us) lots and lots of money. If I've been played, then I was and still am too obtuse to realize it. I appreciated her presence on the thread, respected her approach, was sorry to see her go.

At the very least, however, Kimberly surely can see how her return with an "I knew it all along" post doesn't contribute anything useful to a thread filled with people feeling huge, huge pain, people who didn't know it all along. I found that very disappointing.

I went effectively all cash in my trading account several weeks ago on your and other public post calls and on my own conservatism...but totally missed seeing how bad it could get, so my RRSP (like IRA) has suffered badly in the last couple of days. Even the strong ones I held there, resistant to the downpull for so long, eventually caved.

I agree with your invitation - if she's inclined - to join again in contributing here. We need strength now, not divisivness.

Wow , that's seems so long and far ago....going back to Nov 30th....starting from your post here: Message 12143513

ETYS was $62 and PPRO was $180, mentioned a few posts down from there, LOL!....Different times now? And West Pacific mentioning some news for VRTA, that day ( oh to have just loaded up the boat with VRTA then , and just to have come back 3 mos later!!!!!)

Absolutely not. Those days , in total reality , were
extremely skittish and fear and quick profit-taking/scalping , and heavy shorting were the norm. The market was taking off by degrees....but none of that was
at all certain felt, or completely apparent then. Though actually , sector by heating~up sector the market rotated and bid~up skywards, hugely. But it was in reality then, an everyday all out war. Nothing guaranteed it would have gone as far as it did. Welcome to the " Brokerage Houses" and Investment Banker's and "Chat~Room" and Daytrading Thread's BIG ELECTRONIC CASINO!

I remember that play clearly
with IGLD, and it was now in hindsight it was a simlpe matter of "Buy and Hold".....for only a few short weeks later did run 30pts, didn't it? Those that held were richly rewarded, and those that Only Scalped and moved on , missed. The only thing I ever heard privately , was that Kim was "holding"
IGLD, from that day of reloading....so i am probably missing your point. So 2 weeks later it ran???

I know you are sensitive to the way others promote their stocks, but the truth of those times then ( and now) , was it was an everyday push and pull battle, and all out war. Their was just tremendous pressurized situations going on , on a daily basis, and the foreign ISP's were at the top of the lists, and so they remain.

Jesus, gregg , anybody then playing KOREA , IGLD, STRM,PASA
IIJI, CHINA back then didn't have to be a rocket scientist to know they were "Volatile"! And for good reasons...

This thread was never about just Kimberly's picks, though
a very tenacious trader to her own DD....this thread has
been an open forum and consortium if you wanted it to be, for your own self promotions or sharing of dd....I can name a day recently where a QCOM or BRCD RMBS were taking off...
but counted a boatload of posts for "NATS" and bunches for "TRAC" ,going down here.....<ggg>
AND THIS A Daytrading thread??LOL!

...but for the truth as I percieve it, alot of people
liked to camp out and live on this thread, thinking
that every pick of Kim's was going to be "golden"....when
the truth is nothing then or now ...was for certain.

Am I a better trader for all that? You better believe it...
last Friday was my best day of trading in 3 weeks...

But back then ,I left $5k on the table that day for IGLD, because of the way it tanked... and never did revisit.

"if Only I'd Held"

But this post and then all this effort to draw KIM out?
Message 13405556

why not rest it man? Enough of the BS conspiracy theories for one week....the "Market " is a little too big for that. Got anything you like besides NATS?
regards,

:-)

2MAR$

PS: IGLD will probably hit $8 tomorrow or tues...now it starts all over again, LOL! But time to for you to move on.....(not off the thread...but the subjects at hand, IMO)

IOIH, outstanding post by you. I've known for quite some time about Kim and her gang front running her picks. I have no problem with that at all; however, I do have a problem when they try to deny it.

IMO, everyone should be aware of the front running, and act accordingly. BTW, on this thread, her most ardent supporters are also members of her ICQ clique.

Moron, I have seldom read anything more ludicrous, more presumptuous and asinine. Your conduct in this thread and elsewhere in SI, besides being malicious, selfish, self-aggrandizing and immature, carries a degree of harm, implicit in its nature, that's bound to injure many innocent parties.

During my entire stay at SI, I've placed only one person on IGNORE. Now you just join his rank sharing this dubious honor.

I DO NOT AND NEVER WILL exchange posts with idiots, pedophiles and sociopath; There is no question in my mind that you fit well into at least 2 of these 3 categories.
