Dave, <They're not interested in solving next week's problem. SDRAM/DDR is a dead-end, evolutionary-only technology and they're looking much further down the road than you.>

You are right! What's down the road?
Yes, ADT, with Rambus nowhere around.

Rambus will be phased out in 2 years, judging
from Intel memory roadmap.

It is becoming funny. No one of RMBS proponents
ever want to hear or talk about ADT...
Good luck:)

Actually, this board is really rather civil compared to YAHOO.

Nice earnest lecture there, Dave, but somehow, the BS detectors are going off again.

I've been watching the Rambus thing for a while, Scumbria's the guy with the best recent idea on making money with RMBS. He wanted to short it at 400. Not understanding the mechanics of the short squeeze that sent it up to 400 in the first place, I wouldn't have contemplated that myself, but it would have been a good move. Would have been just as good a move to buy it before IDF and sell it at 400.

I'm glad everybody's patting themselves on the back here about 128meg RIMMs breaking the $600 barrier, all they need is another factor of 3 price reduction and people might start taking Rambus seriously again.

Geoff Tate said that they were having trouble hiring lawyers themselves -- everyone seemed to be looking into the issue already. This is definitely not some little-corner-of-the-world issue.
