Dan,

Dirk is like the second coming when it comes to microprocessors. This guy knows everything about every single aspect of a CPU. It's *incredible*.

Dan,

It amazes me you use the example of Seymour Cray. I was going to use it myself, and draw the precise analogy that you did, but I got tired of typing. Talk about reading my mind! Wow!

Dan,

Seymour Cray for big iron, Dirk Meyer for microprocessors?

Actually, Athlon is quite a bit more powerful than a supercomputer of several years ago.
