You wrote:

<they will have to use RDRAM to mimimize latency>

I noted:
Message 13435195
<Rambus idea DOES NOT WORK FOR BIG UPGRADABLE SYSTEM,
where it has no benefits in latency>

Now you are telling me that:
<There is only a very small difference in latency between RDRAM and DDR(Cas cycle 2). Hardly any at all.>

So what are you saying? Why would someone use RDRAM
"to minimize latency" if the difference is "hardly
any at all", or latency of DDR is even slightly
better, as you say?

Can you make up your mind please?
:) :) :)

<To make this the thrust of your argument is to erect your edifice on quicksand.>
<RDRAM has the potential to further reduce its latency..>
Everything has some potency. And speaking about
erections, I know no Viagra to help Rambus :)
