...But how I already have historical tick-by-tick data on my computer, which I have converted to five-minute bars. My old set-up required a lot of manual effort to process that data and plot it as a .gif file or view it on the screen. With the Java program, all this is done rather easily using the mouse to select the date and number of days to plot. Also, the indicators can be readily changed. Regarding futures data on web sites, I don't know a single site which has data readily available going back more than a year.
