I think this market has been exciting and invigorating. How about this on days like we had this last week. Here I entered a stop loss which turned up as a "woking" order. The stop loss is my only protection in the market. Then when I go to cancel and replace it, I find Globex never received the damn order from the broker's computer system. This compliments the problem I sometimes have with canceling stops after I am flat from a trade. One time I found out the next morning that I was inadvertently in an *overnight* position on a stop that I cancelled but that turned out not to be successfully cancelled on the Globex system. Fortunately I was able to take a small profit. Very lucky me! Blessed myself with holy water I did! ;-) Now I keep my own records and check my status with the trading desk periodically through the trading day which is tape recorded by them. Then one day this week the market was chopping in the direction of the trend with mutli-point slippage. Add to this a very slow broker system. Order were filled a significant time later with several point slippage. This made me just a bit frustrated. Lucky me that my previous profits covered what losses I incurred here.

All good stuff for my diary. LOL
