Well Well.. It seems the market has gotten the better of all of us. So let me be the one to remind us of whats to happen in the coming months.. We will all trade. Plain and simple. If your still here, Your still in the game. The market weeded out good and bad traders, new and old. Whats left looks and feels (and sounds) like a dog that's been kicked one two many times. Who did or didn't say what about what pick. Fact is, it really doesn't matter. Each and every one of us is here to do one thing. Make lots of money. Money is the problem in this equation. It makes you do things you would not normally do. And when you lose some of it. It makes you want it back that much worse. Anger, fear, animocity.. all tools of the big $$ to get us to fight each other instead of figuring out what they are doing. Works too. What do they care. They took our money selling us crap while the market ran up to 5000+ then they drove it off a cliff with us tied to our seats. Now they sit at the top watching the flames and grin knowing that they can do it all over again. So what do we do now? Do we keep bickering? Is this the end of a thread, or the beginning of a new one? I say its time we picked ourselves up, dusted off and started to work together again. Its the only way we can succeed. A few words to and about the recent outspoken posters: Puff / Stock Operator: Getting things started by telling us that you can't wait until were all broke because we didn't listen. Well its a real crappy attitude but honest. At very least, I know where you stand. Calling the top was great, calling us morons was not so great... If Only Id Held: Greg tried to do a private chat area for a few folks here. Not a P&D thing but a legitimate chat room where we all worked together. Even when it came to buying and selling stock. He would say where his order was and let you watch him remove it and put it back.. No BS at all. Problem is, nobody showed up. In less than 6 weeks time Greg called no less than 3 doubles. They were not all winners but the gains far outweighed the losses. On a sour note, in this forum, we all have to assume that someone posting picks is already in the stock. Deciding to buy or not is ultimately up to each of us. Flaming Kim was wrong. Not that I want to kiss her ass ala Puff, (what was that lame footprints in the sand reference on Friday anyway) But as horrible as it may seem, Kims presence at the thread gave some sort of stability and kept enough money around to make a difference and move some stock. First in first out.. We all know the rules. As awful as it may be to admit, people like someone to lead. Even without Kim around, everyone lingered just in case the thread got hot or She started posting again. We definitely don't NEED Kim, But after all the thread is named after her and a little restraint may have been better. Even if her return was ill timed. And Lastly, Kim: Bailing out for that long may have been what you had to do. But a post once a week would have been nice. One problem I'm sure was the amount of replies both public and private that became overwhelming. I remember each post from Kim was always hit with 8 to 12 replies, Most were from you guys trying to get her to endorse your stocks. You guys (those types of posters) are the ones who drove her away the first time. Thats the sad part. Funny thing is it wasn't the regulars here. Mostly lurkers who only wanted to use her popularity. So now you are gone. If its what you think is right then I wish you the best. If you want my opinion (which nobody ever does), leaving now is like the kid at the park who leaves and takes the football with him because he's getting picked on. Nothing personal but Fight fire with fire. Prove Greg wrong, don't give up. If you want out fine. Everyone can respect that. But don't bail because someone challenges you. Opinions are nothing more than opinions, read it and move on. If you feel you have nothing to prove then don't even reply. Your a good trader, no one can deny that. So do what you do and forget the rest. To everybody else: Well this got a lot longer than I wanted it too. My point is this. Take this weekend to get it all out of your system Cuss,Drink.. Argue and bicker about who was wrong and who was right.. Monday morning pull yourselves together and lets get to work. There is a pantload of money to be made out there folks, We've all seen it now lets find it. I want to be a millionaire and I don't want to answer 15 f@#king questions to get there. I'd rather earn it with my friends. Lets get it together. M
