some thoughts/suggestions...

sounds like it has to do with FTP (file transfer protocol). try entering the words 'file upload support' in the ie help search box.

also, try looking at browser settings in tools, internet options. under advanced tab, there's a box that says 'use web based FTP'. try changing that and then apply, ok. also could try 'restore defaults' button on the advanced page.

Could you say what kind of "stuff" you upload and in what context are you using the term upload?I'm asking because I don't know what you are trying to do.I'm puzzled which, in itself, is not that unusual:)
