Yeah, then he splits off Enterprise to unlock VALUE for LU? What was that all about? The enterprise and public network market is TOO close to split in my opinion. This is not a case where GM decides to create a tracking stock for EDS!

McGinn seems to spend too much time worrying about meeting the numbers, goosing up the stock price in the short term -- even at the cost of long-term. In my opinion if you take care of the Customer, Technology, Internal Employees and make the right strategic decisions, the stock price will take care of itself.

I see Roth being more concerned about these core issues and McGinn being more concerned about satisfying Wall St.'s need for meeting the numbers that may not have been achievable. Dangerous situation to be in IMO.
