FWIW, I was looking through Barron's a few minutes ago and noticed there were quite a few new lows, so I measured them. 14 3/8"

Not trying to be presumptuous here Charles, but you don't by any chance get the AARP version that they print in 16-point type, do you?<g>

Dear Charles: I LOVE IT. A NICE unsophisticated measure of the market. Going out to get a ruler. JDN

The market was destined to take a beating. We all new
that. In a rising market we all bury our heads in the sand
and think it will continue forever.
Just look at the message boards. When a stock keeps going
up all the mavens come out and become big shots.
When the stock goes down they disappear.
By the end of the week we should see a steady rise.
However it will be in quality stocks such as SUN.
Tech stocks will still rule the roost. That's were the
big earnings and growth will still be.
My two big positions are SUNW and International Rectifier
(IRF). IRF will have blow out earnings on Wednesday.
We are entering an era of fabulous buys. Did any one
ever think you could purchase CISCO or JDS at these
prices?
