Yes, Alan Abelson was positively giddy this week. He and Ron Insana are just having the time of their lives, aren't they?

My favorite part of Abelson's column was his attempt to dispel rumors that Art Samberg's hedge funds were on the verge of collapse. He did the exact same thing about six months ago when rumors of iminent demise were swirling around another of the marquee hedge funds . . . Tiger Management, operated by Julian Robertson. We all know what's happened there!
