Art, We have had this discussion before...

...and my reply to you is as follows. The cash on the books was not used anyway. In this case ultra-conservatism was the wrong choice.

Also, we discussed previously that all stock buybacks do not end in share retirement. The shares could have been used for the revamped options plans we voted in last year or could have been banked. Also, the unquantifiable benefit from the psychology of reassuring shareholders (and, for that matter, the market) that "help is on the way" was underappreciated.
