ctb/A@didn'twemeetattheHaileSelassieculturalcenter? are you ethiopian? been there? i have a number of friends who worked there...i trained for deployment in other parts of africa. as i recall haille died in mid 70s...more important for this thread...i believe he started rastafarianism...the ethiopians and the jamaicans believe they are connected...probably are...can't recall the exact detail. do recall the story in genesis about the 3 or 4 branches of the g??? river...one ran thru ethiopia. more important.... is to understand the difference between irish rastafarians and ethiopian rastafarianism. one is a drinking org...other a religion. guess who is who.
