re: One of the problems with JDSU and the industry in general is they're not automated. They're very labor intensive and as they grow, the difficulty arises in finding qualified and expensive technicians. I actually find the above to be good long term and you last part not necessary true. I compare the optical industry to the semiconductor industry years ago. JDSU and the rest of them are having to invent the process as they go. I'm positive as the industry grows automation will follow, and those technicians will be redeployed to more productive jobs. You might even see KLIC as supplier to JDSU, applying their ball bonding expertise to the optical industry. Greg
