We always worry about inflation because being vigilant about inflation is how we kept inflation under control over all of these years.' he added. Asked whether he saw a risk of a serious rise in inflation in the months ahead, Summers replied: ``No, I don't.' He declined to comment directly on Friday's plunge in U.S. equity markets, which was prompted by a surprise report showing an unexpected rise in consumer price inflation, but reiterated the U.S. administration's focus was on keeping the underlying fundamentals of the economy strong. ``It's never possible to explain an individual market move,' he said.
