prediction: April CPI core is negative, food&energy negative

we will see
glad to see Summers comprehends the temporary nature of this CPI recent number
he is no Rubin master of market relations
but he is a QUICK STUDY, a Harvard wunderkind professor

no smoothing of monthly numbers statistically

gasoline prices down 4%
jet fuel prices down similarly
heating oil in northeast down more than 4%
expecting airline costs to come down later
perhaps electrical utility fuel allowance costs to come down later
