chris, there is a boatload of bearishness around, trin indicator oversold commensurate with other major market bottoms, vix at 40, put/calls, etc., big spread on the front page of the la times, newsweek cover "is the bull over" at lot of contrary indicators, however, excessive tops, may require excessive unwinding, if you look at swenlin's rydex ratio, this top may be different than any other top made in the last decade, that gap down off support not good. b
