Hi Joel, well I'm in an admittedly tiny margin call but that along with my deflated portfolio is making me want to go to cash in brokerage and keogh. Then many others are saying this is a great buying opp, and a lot of cash is sitting on the sidelines. This is true. The cash won't come back until they're sure all the margin calls are shaken out (I think I'd be the last wave, it'll be less than last week). I also think they realize this could just upset all the markets and its pretty dangerous so they'll try to keep the situation stable. I don't know how much further we'll go down so I'm thinking that buying calls on some of our favorite blue chip techs, with a PORTION of the porfolio, and NOT ON MARGIN, is a good idea. I just got a long PM from someone who is brilliant at that and he sees ATM calls as having a lot of potential. However I would most likely NOT be doing that tomorrow!

I guess it's kind of like, take the beating, regroup, and then go back in fighting.

I'm going to look at Dreyfuss chains and be prepared with a bunch of different strategies. It depends how things look before the open and I'll definitely be up early tomorrow and watching and posting.
