Perry--My understanding is that these rights RTIN will enjoy include the right to collect and retain some portion of franchise fees for entities wishing to open Fatburgers in the region. By definition, RTIN too would be free to open them but, as you say, it is far more lucrative to sell the franchises themselves.

I do not know how much of operating overrides these rights would include. However, they will of course participate in operating overrides from a corporate posture.

I believe all of this will clear up very shortly when RTIN makes public it's "Market Partner Strategy" That should be unveiled very shortly.

As far as Krispy Kreme goes....I have talked to several people who have looked into it and Fatburger....and everyone says FB will expand much more quickly....
Restaurants much easier to build/manage/cost less/less overhead/less training/etc.
