No, Edwarda.

Again, I am not joking, kidding, charading, playing games, doing academic research or in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER being anything but direct and sincere.

"...everything that she has posted publicly and, from what I hear, in PMs does not support her contention..."

I'd like to know where you get your information about my 'PM's...that in itself is a concern.

"...and has even been recently suggesting that she is joking as well,..."

I would like you to show me where I "suggested that I was Joking".

There is no reason for anyone to be 'frightened' about privacy...it is much more productive to learn how to make your system as secure as possible, which requires daily maintenance...its not a 'one time fix'.

I believe that people need to be aware of the various 'invasion' methods available to the 'techintelligencia'...
ie, those who abuse the technology and COUNT on the ignorance of the 'average user'.

I find NO humor in this.

It was stated by some one on the SIbob thread that people would quote "freak out" if they knew how easy it was to have their keystrokes monitored.

-and it wasn't stated by me.

"Years ago, I did write such kinds of software, but I was paid to do so for a legitimate project. Yes on UNIX systems its trivial to watch someone's keystrokes.
On Windows its extremely easy to do it, so easy most people would probably freak out if they realized it."
