John, >CNBC is watched because sometimes they catch a breaking story and their index quotes are in real time. Also every now and again they even have a decent guest on. Fair enough conclusion about CNBC, especially about having decent guests on. About Bloomberg. I've never seen people like Abby Cohen or Bill Gates interviewed there. Seems that bashing CNBC is a popular sport on SI. To those that don't like it, don't turn it on. To me, you get information from whatever source you can, and, most important, decide for yourself what to believe or act on. Tony
