I will not be surprised if there is more time to consider things than just a day or two.

INDU - intelligentspeculator.com

If this is a replay of an 87 style crash, then some grinding is to be expected. On a weekly chart there was a fairly obvious buy spot however (INDU) some 7 weeks after the initial crash.

COMPX - intelligentspeculator.com

The COMPX provided the safest entry some 8 weeks after the initial crash.

Moral of the story, for many investors, don't be too quick to rush in. Expanding time frames to look at a weekly chart might be a good move.

i gather regards a sharp rally on tuesday 10/20/87 we are Not refering to NASD--as there was not a sharp rally in NASD on that Tuesday.it opened down that tuesday and got worse through the day.max
