V G -- Multiple accounts with the same firm usually takes care of the problem. Very simple as most accounts have more than 1 name on them. Most are insured to 500K today with FS brokers. Acct 1 could be VG & spouse. Acct 2 Spouse and VG. Account 3 VG Spouse & child. Keep 'em rolling as you do not even have a trust acct yet ,,, IRA is seperate too so there are additional,, etc..
