TC, Thanks for the input on margin. I used it some years ago when I was still trading with Schwab, so I'm out of touch with it. My trades with Trading Direct let me choose whether to use margin or cash. For all my trades last year I stayed with cash. I also did not short anything last year, so I don't know how they would treat shorts. However, your short term success has inspired me to go back to a short term trading system I worked up several months ago, then decided to trade options instead. I'm ready to put it to work with about $5000 seed money and go rather slow with it (keep positions small) at first. I've done very well with it on paper for the last 15 trading days, including some nice setups for shorts on Thursday. So, it's time to plug in emotions and go for it. Kenny
