Taiwan down 5.4% on Saturday and Israel down 8.1% today and New Zealand down 4.9% in the early going in Monday's market. In a role reversal, the US has 'wakened a sleeping dragon'. Asia slept while markets crashed. They're just now getting their margin calls on US stocks. As I read in a foreign newspaper this morning, the attitude overseas is one of shock: Who would have thought that a country of economic size and stability as the US could fall so quickly? Just picked up a couple of gold Eagles on eBay. hehehehe
