I don't have a clue where the market will be at the end of next week but I thought a few people would be interested in these charts.

One thing to remember - the masses are usually wrong and right now I see a lot of new bears coming out of the wood work. Last OCT everyone was screaming doom and gloom and look at what happened. Right now we need some serious capitulation to put in a hard bottom - people need to abandon all hope and puke up their shares. I talked with several hopeless people this weekend but a few are hanging on so not everyone has abandoned all hope. This is going to be an amazing week - good luck everyone.

IMO, the daily puts to much emphasis on the correction thus far, in other words, making it look large. Here is a monthly logarithmic that gives a bigger picture:

If you have a moment, you really should take a look at this one. As you can see, we have only taken out the gains made since December 1999. Not very much at all.
