Gary - given fair value for the NAZ is around 3250 - is it fair to see we have no way in heck to reach the 5000 level by year-end - where do these analysts come up with these figures - including AJ Cohen ?

Gary - being late should be measured in points not time.

I am sorry you lost money.

I too predict a bottom to be hit in some stocks, so tell me, how am I late? Unlike you, I am not greedy and will wait for volume confirmation and some type of bottoming process.

I already have my wish list: semis, storage, wireless apps.

the rant below is not directed at you Gary.

You know what cracks me up about all this? The same people that were saying that the new economy calls for a re-evaluation of how we value companies are now saying that it's going to take 2-3 years to get back to the highs we saw last month. Oh brother. They must be the boneheads that invested in every loser e-tail IPO.

When will those folks learn to put their money in good companies and just hold. The sky is not falling. When the herd is at its peak of panic-selling, that is the time to buy. I'd say we're there now. Welcome to the pain, daytraders. Do you still think you can successfully time the market over the long run? Time yourself into bankruptcy and good riddance, then.

Hi Gary,
which stocks to you think will be the first to recover from the correction?
