American Spirit, Both last Thursday and Friday, Ameritrade showed that close to 80% of their customer orders were buys. That did not stop the market from tanking. It seems retail investors were buying enthusiastically the "dip" last week, while somebody else (who???) was selling. As for COMS, I agree with you, it seems to be a bargain here, but the 16 P/E ratio is highly misleading. It includes huge investment gains, that increasingly appear to be one-time (e.g. they have a large Aether position and Aether dropped from its high in the 300s to the 80s recently).
