Snowshoe: Interactive TV--"Hugo" is the one thing I know of that is an actually honest-to-god functional profitable prototype right now (even the TV Guide horse racing deal isn't profitable yet, I don't think--maybe someone else can correct this). "Hugo" is a Danish show (now global) that's been growing for a few years:

Kids play the game at home with a touch tone phone. Pretty primitive.

Although I don't have my RF*M in front of me (dad still has it), I think this suggests that actual tornado season is a ways off...

I didn't go to MIPTV last week so there may have been some new ideas put out there, interactive show-wise. I did hear that the big buzz was broadband on demand movie deals.
