The problem, IMO, is that for the past several years, the dip buyers have done well. But this latest dip buyers (climax on Tuesday) have not. Some of the dip buyers have already bought on the dip. Not a whole lot of money left on the sideline. Who is going to buy all the margin call related shares up for sale?

On Friday afternoon, there are many new accounts and IRA contributions added. I am assuming these accounts are for trading, not money market funds.

Mani,

A lot of folks saying that but I don't believe it.....what about all the people who have sold over the past 2 weeks and taken profits ie A. Cohen went to 5% cash 2 weeks; Cramer was at 60% cash two weeks ago etc. There is $ ready to come in IMO.
