A good rumor from AMDZone (http://www.amdzone.com/index.cfm?):

"Thanks to Terje Nilsen for this link to a compter shop in Norway. It shows the 550 and 600 mhz Spitfires available on 4/25 and the 650 and 700 mhz versions available 5/8, all at prices below a comparably clocked new ass-master Celeron."

Link wouldn't work for me with opening in a new window but straight click worked. This is the second round of rumors for a 4/24 launch of Spitfire -- a date which is in conflict with AMD's "official schedule" from the CC (per other's notes, I haven't been able to listen yet!). I like the underpromise and over-deliver approach AMD has taken... Price of Spitfire 700 is slightly more than Athlon 700 in whatever the units are in Norway. Will prowl a bit for any socketed motherboards but I am not sure of the Norwegian equivalent.

And there is also a poll on AMD's present stock value... "undervalued" is of course winning (54%) but "delicious with maple syrup" is also strong (28%).
