The American Gas Foundation was mentioned in a recent article in Oil & Gas Journal but I can't find out anything about them--anyone have any ideas-- Frank

o/t Tech buying opportunity ...

For the last 12 mos, or so - I've been nearly 100% invested in & trading the oilpatch. I've allways loved the tech & iNet story, but missed the train value-wise imo & refused to chase them.

I bought Cisco, Lucent, Microsoft, Intel and VTSS PMCS and a few other gems back in the Oct 1998 selloff and sold way, way too early. I picked the right names - but, dumped way - way too soon.

For me; nothing has changed in the tech, or internet story; just that stockpicking & valuations remain paramount. I am determined to add at least 25-30% of my holdings to tech - directly into any further selloff. I am not worried about hitting an exact bottom - as I will "average" into tech & inets.

This is a tremendous opportunity to get back in imho. I'll make a nice initial entry in top tier core companies today and will rotate 10% of my Oilpatch holdings into tech on each further 10% selloff in the NASDQ.

Started in the pre-market with my first buy - CMGI ! I have allways loved this company - if you think the Internet is here to stay - certainly CMGI has to be a core holding - it will be mine; putting it in the 5+year hold drawer unless it doubles+ within 3 mos....

Shopping list contains:

CMGI AOL YHOO
WCOM
GMST
MSFT
QCOM NOK
CSCO JNPR FDRY
JDSU
RFMD
BRCM VTSS
KLAC
NTAP EMC

So many great names - like the niche & stories on the above; hard to pare down to a short list & I'll watch for any further major selloff in the above to make my choices outside of my top 3.

...CMGI AOL WCOM will be my first 3 fwiw; gives me iNet, Media/Content - Telecom covered.

WCOM is a stock that Oilpatch value players should appreciate - what a value here ! - my fav'

You know; when you step back and take shareprices out of the equation; one has to admit - at worse; we are ONLY in the 3rd inning of the Internet/Technology Expansion game - in a worst case scenario... a historic "re-entry" ? - many think so; I still say the NAZ hits 5000 within next 12 mos.
